從此第四，明九十八，論云：「又即前所說六種隨眠，於本論中說九十八，依何義說九十八耶？」頌曰：
Next is the fourth division, explaining the ninety-eight. The treatise says: "Furthermore, these six kinds of anusayas mentioned above are said to be ninety-eight in the basic treatise. On what principle are they said to be ninety-eight?" The verse says:
