「慢七九從三，皆通見修斷，
聖如殺纏等，有修斷不行。」
"Prides are seven; nine derive from three; / all are common to abandonment by vision and cultivation.
The noble one, as with the entanglement of killing and so forth, / has [some] abandoned by cultivation that do not occur."
