"Together with their delusion" refers to the ignorance associated with those views of individuality and extreme grasping in the desire realm. "Indeterminate": these defilements above are exclusively of the veiled indeterminate nature. For what is unwholesome has painful maturation, and the fruit of painful maturation is absent in the upper two realms; therefore, those anuśayas are exclusively indeterminate in nature. Because the view of individuality and the view of extreme grasping in the desire realm are confused about one's own affairs, and do not intend to harm other sentient beings, they are exclusively indeterminate in nature. According to the Sautrāntika school, the view of individuality is twofold: first, innate, which is exclusively indeterminate in nature; second, conceptualised, which is unwholesome in nature. Arising together with the body, it is called innate; arising on account of incorrect thinking, it is called conceptualised.
