從此第二，傍論，於中有七：一兩眼見先後、二六根六境離合、三根境量大小、四六識依世攝、五眼等得依名、六識隨根立稱、七依地同異別。

From here [begins] the second part, subsidiary discussions, which contains seven topics: 1. Whether the two eyes see sequentially or simultaneously; 2. Whether the six faculties and six objects contact or do not contact; 3. The magnitude of the faculties and objects; 4. The subsumption of the supports of the six consciousnesses by temporal periods; 5. Why the eye and the rest receive the name 'support' (āśraya); 6. Why consciousness receives its designation according to the faculty; 7. Differences in the sameness and difference of the levels of support.
