俗果二者，俗道果二，謂世俗道能斷欲界、色界修所斷故，得順下分及色愛盡二遍知果。聖九者，謂聖道力能斷三界見修惑盡，得九遍知果。

Regarding "fruits of the conventional are two": the fruits of the conventional path are two; namely, because the worldly path is able to abandon what is abandoned by cultivation in the desire and form realms, one attains the two fruits of comprehensive knowledge of [the exhaustion of the fetters] belonging to the lower tier and of the exhaustion of attachment to form. Regarding "of the noble, nine": the power of the noble path is able to completely abandon the defilements of seeing and cultivation in the three realms, attaining the fruits of the nine comprehensive knowledges.
