21.70
又論云：「非要遍知所緣故斷（答前問也）。若爾斷惑總由幾因（却徵也）？由四種因（總答）。何等為四（問也）？」頌曰：
Furthermore, the treatise says: 'It is not necessarily due to comprehensively knowing the cognitive object that they are abandoned (answering the earlier question). If so, by how many causes in total are afflictions abandoned (questioning back)? By four causes (general answer). What are the four (question)?' The verse says:
