23.20

頌言「下中品同頂」者，此忍善根有下、中、上品，下、中二位同前頂位具觀四諦，修十六行相也。

As for the verse saying "its inferior and middling grades being the same as the summit": this root of goodness of patience has inferior, middling, and superior grades; the inferior and middling stages, identical to the preceding stage of the summit, contemplate the four truths in full and cultivate the sixteen modes.
