從此第五，明得果久近，論云：「頗有此生創修加行，即此生引起順決擇分耶？不爾云何？」頌曰：
Hereafter is the fifth section, explaining the duration until attaining the fruit. The treatise states: "Is there anyone who initially cultivates the preparatory path in this life and brings forth the factors leading to penetration in this very life? If not so, how is it?" The verse says:
