初三後解脫者，初三謂初、二、三禪，後解脫謂第九解脫，此三近分、第九解脫，或入根本、或在近分也。

Regarding "The first three, in the final liberation," the first three refers to the first, second, and third dhyānas. The final liberation refers to the ninth path of liberation. In these three thresholds, the ninth liberation either enters the fundamental or remains in the threshold.
