且初七聖者，論云：「學無學位有七聖者，一切聖者皆此中攝：一隨信行、二隨法行、三信解、四見至、五身證、六慧解脫、七俱解脫。依何立七（一問）？事別有幾（第二問也）？」頌曰：

First, as for the seven noble ones, the treatise states: "In the stages of śaikṣa and aśaikṣa there are seven noble ones, and all noble ones are subsumed within them: 1. follower by faith; 2. follower by dharma; 3. resolved by faith; 4. attained to view; 5. bodily witness; 6. liberated through wisdom; 7. liberated both ways. Based on what are the seven established (first question)? How many distinct entities are there (second question)?" A verse says:
