26.110

上無間餘道，如次修六八者，上無間者，謂是斷有頂九無間道也。此上無間未來修六，謂四諦智、法智、類智。言餘道者，謂斷欲界第九解脫道及第九勝進道，又斷上七地諸解脫道及勝進道，斷上八地（加有頂也）諸加行道，又斷有頂前八品惑諸勝進道，此上諸道皆名餘道。此之餘道未來修八，於前六智加世俗智及他心智。

[Regarding] "The higher uninterrupted and the remaining paths cultivate, respectively, six and eight": "the higher uninterrupted" refers to the nine uninterrupted paths in severing the peak of existence. This higher uninterrupted [path] cultivates six in the future, namely the knowledges of the four truths, dharma-knowledge, and category-knowledge. The words "remaining paths" refer to the ninth path of liberation and the ninth distinguished path in severing the desire realm, as well as the various paths of liberation and distinguished paths in severing the higher seven stages, the various preparatory paths in severing the higher eight stages (adding the peak of existence), and also the various distinguished paths in severing the first eight grades of defilement of the peak of existence; all these paths mentioned above are called "remaining paths." These remaining paths cultivate eight in the future, adding conventional knowledge and knowledge of others' minds to the previous six knowledges.
