釋曰：無學初剎那者，謂斷有頂第九解脫道也。此無學位未來修智或九、或十，謂鈍根者除無生智，若利根者具修十智。於無學位諸勝進道或九、或十，准前說之。

The explanation says: [Regarding] "At the first moment of an aśaikṣa": this refers to the ninth path of liberation in severing the peak of existence. In this stage of aśaikṣa, one cultivates nine or ten knowledges in the future: those with dull faculties exclude the knowledge of non-arising, whereas those with sharp faculties cultivate all ten knowledges. In the stage of aśaikṣa, the various distinguished paths [cultivate] nine or ten, which should be stated in accordance with the preceding.
