26.115

「練根無間道，學六無學七，
餘學六七八，應八九一切。
雜修通無間，學七應八九，
餘道學修八，應九或一切。
聖起餘功德，及異生諸位，
所修智多少，皆如理應思。」

"In the uninterrupted path of training the faculties, a śaikṣa [cultivates] six, an aśaikṣa seven;
In the remaining, a śaikṣa [cultivates] six, seven, eight; an arhat, eight, nine, all.
In the uninterrupted [paths] of mixed cultivation and supernormal knowledges, a śaikṣa [cultivates] seven, an arhat eight or nine;
In the remaining paths, a śaikṣa cultivates eight, an arhat nine or all.
When a noble one produces other virtues, and in the various states of an ordinary person,
The number of knowledges cultivated should in all cases be properly considered."
