The commentary says: In the stage of non-learning, when one correctly knows oneself, 'I have already known suffering, I have already abandoned the origin, I have already realized cessation, I have already cultivated the path,' this is called the knowledge of destruction. When one correctly knows oneself, 'I have already known suffering, and will not know it again; I have already abandoned the origin, and will not abandon it again; I have already realized cessation, and will not realize it again; I have already cultivated the path, and ought not to cultivate it further,' this is called the knowledge of non-arising. The treatise says: "How do these ten knowledges subsume one another? Conventional knowledge completely subsumes one and partly subsumes one (it partly subsumes telepathic knowledge). Knowledge of dharmas and subsequent knowledge each completely subsume one and partly subsume seven (the four knowledges of suffering, etc., the knowledge of destruction, the knowledge of non-arising, and telepathic knowledge—these seven are partly subsumed). The knowledges of suffering, origin, and cessation each completely subsume one and partly subsume four (the four partial ones are knowledge of dharmas, subsequent knowledge, knowledge of destruction, and knowledge of non-arising). The knowledge of the path completely subsumes one and partly subsumes five (the five partial ones are knowledge of dharmas, subsequent knowledge, knowledge of destruction, knowledge of non-arising, and telepathic knowledge). Telepathic knowledge completely subsumes one and partly subsumes four (knowledge of dharmas, subsequent knowledge, knowledge of the path, and conventional knowledge). The knowledges of destruction and non-arising each completely subsume one and partly subsume six (the six partial ones are the knowledges of the four truths, knowledge of dharmas, and subsequent knowledge)."
