且初舉數標名者，論云：「如是已辨諸智差別，智所成德今當顯示。於中先辨佛不共德，且初成佛盡智位修不共佛法有十八種，何為十八？」頌曰：
Regarding first citing the number and designating their names, the treatise states: 'Having thus differentiated the various knowledges, the qualities accomplished by knowledge will now be demonstrated. Among these, the unshared qualities of a Buddha will first be differentiated. Initially, at the stage of the knowledge of exhaustion upon attaining buddhahood, there are eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha cultivated. What are the eighteen?' The verse says:
