'The summits are six': the natures of this concentration of the summit are of six kinds: namely, the four unimpeded knowledges, non-conflict, and knowledge resulting from resolve. When [unimpeded knowledge regarding] expressions is excluded from these six, and the summit of prolonging or shortening lifespan and so forth is added, the entities become six: namely, the summit of non-conflict up to the summit of prolonging and shortening, and so forth. Although unimpeded knowledge regarding expressions is generated relying on the fourth concentration of the summit, its nature is subsumed under the desire realm and the first dhyāna; therefore, unimpeded knowledge regarding expressions is not an entity of the summit. 'The final concentration': the fourth concentration; this explains that the summit relies solely on the fourth dhyāna.
