27.81

天眼耳無記者，天眼、耳二通無記性攝，以二通體是眼、耳識相應慧故，謂眼、耳識生得善者，非異地起。若色界生得，不能生定。今此二通與定相生，故二通體唯無記性，四無記中通果無記。

Regarding "the divine eye and ear are indeterminate": the two supernormal knowledges of the divine eye and ear are subsumed under the indeterminate nature, because the essential nature of these two supernormal knowledges is the wisdom associated with the eye consciousness and ear consciousness. That is, the innately acquired wholesome consciousnesses of the eye and ear do not arise from a different ground. If they were innately acquired in the form realm, they could not produce concentration. Now, these two supernormal knowledges arise together with concentration; therefore, the essential nature of the two supernormal knowledges is solely indeterminate, being the indeterminate result of supernormal power (abhijñāphala) among the four kinds of indeterminate.
