學有闇非明者，有學身中雖有宿住及死生智，不名明者，以彼身中有闇惑故。
Regarding "because those in training have darkness, they are not called knowledges": although those in training possess in their persons the knowledge of past lives and of death and rebirth, they are not called "knowledges" because there is dark confusion within their persons.
