「靜慮初五支，尋伺喜樂定，
第二有四支，內淨喜樂定，
第三具五支，捨念慧樂定，
第四有四支，捨念中受定。」

"The initial dhyāna has five factors: / Investigation, examination, joy, bliss, and concentration; / The second has four factors: / Internal purity, joy, bliss, and concentration; / The third is endowed with five factors: / Equanimity, mindfulness, discernment, bliss, and concentration; / The fourth has four factors: / Equanimity, mindfulness, neutral feeling, and concentration."
