此下第一，明四靜慮。論云：「已說諸智所成功德，餘性功德今次當辨。於中先辨所依止定，且諸定內靜慮云何？」頌曰：
Hereunder is the first, explaining the four dhyānas. The treatise says: "The virtues accomplished through the various knowledges have already been explained; the virtues of other natures should now be analyzed. Therein, we first analyze the absorptions on which they rely. First, among the absorptions, what are the dhyānas?" The verse says:
