就第一明二十二根中，復分為五：一釋根義、二明根廢立、三明根體、四辨諸門、五雜分別。

Within the first section, explaining the twenty-two indriyas, it is further divided into five parts: first, explaining the meaning of indriya; second, explaining the inclusion and exclusion of indriyas; third, explaining the substance of the indriyas; fourth, distinguishing the various categories; fifth, miscellaneous discriminations.
