從此已下第三，明得果用根多少者，論云：「分別根中，一切根法皆應思擇，二十二根中，幾能證得何沙門果？」頌曰：
From here below [follows] the third [door], clarifying the number of faculties used in attaining the fruits. The treatise states: "In analyzing the faculties, all faculty phenomena should be investigated: among the twenty-two faculties, how many can realize which śramaṇa fruit?" The verse says:
