從此第六，業報難知分。此是論主推讓世尊，業所熏種相續轉變，至彼彼位彼彼果生，唯佛證知，非餘境界。故經部師有是頌曰：
From here is the sixth section, that karmic retribution is difficult to know. This is the author of the treatise deferring to the World-Honoured One: that seeds perfumed by karma undergo continuum and transformation, and upon reaching such and such stages produce such and such fruits, is realized and known only by the Buddha, not being the domain of others. Therefore, the Sautrāntika master has this verse:
