4.36

「欲有尋伺故，於善心品中，
二十二心所。有時增惡作，
於不善不共。見俱唯二十，
四煩惱忿等。惡作二十一。
有覆有十八。無覆許十二。
睡眠通不違，若有皆增一。」

"Because the desire realm has investigation and examination,
In a wholesome mental state,
There are twenty-two mental factors. At times remorse is added.
In the unwholesome, [when associated with] unshared [ignorance]
Or accompanied by [wrong] view, there are only twenty;
With the four defilements, wrath and the like,
Or remorse, there are twenty-one.
Defiled [neutral] has eighteen. Non-defiled [neutral] is accepted as twelve.
Sleep is admitted without contradiction;
If present, all increase by one."
