且初明無慚等者，論云：「今次當說，於前所辨諸心所中少分差別，無慚、無愧，愛之與敬，差別云何？」頌曰：

Now, first, clarifying the absence of shame and the like, the treatise states: "Now we should next explain subtle distinctions among the various mental factors discriminated above: what is the distinction between absence of shame and absence of conscience, and between affection and respect?"
