從此第二，釋難。依經部宗，四相是假，不許有宗未來有體，實有生相，故論云：「若生在未來，生所生法，未來一切法何不頓生？」頌曰：

From here, the second part resolves an objection. According to the Sautrāntika school, the four characteristics are designated as nominal; they do not accept the Sarvāstivāda view that the future has an entity and that the characteristic of arising truly exists. Therefore the Śāstra states: "If arising exists in the future and gives rise to that which is to be arisen, why do not all future dharmas arise all at once?" The verse states:
