7.35

「欲界善生九，此復從八生，
染從十生四，餘從五生七。
色善生十一，此復從九生。
有覆從八生，此復生於六。
無覆從三生，此復能生六。
無色善生九，此復從六生。
有覆生從七，無覆如色辨。
學從四生五，餘從五生四。」

"Wholesome of the desire realm gives rise to nine,
And this in turn arises from eight;
Defiled arises from ten and produces four;
The rest arises from five and produces seven.
Wholesome of form gives rise to eleven,
And this in turn arises from nine;
Veiled arises from eight,
And this in turn gives rise to six;
Unveiled arises from three,
And this in turn can give rise to six;
Wholesome of the formless gives rise to nine,
And this in turn arises from six;
Veiled gives rise to and arises from seven;
Unveiled is explained like that of form;
[The mind of a] trainee arises from four and produces five;
The rest arises from five and produces four."
