「於中有四生，有情謂卵等。
人傍生具四，地獄及諸天，
中有唯化生，鬼通胎化二。」
"Among them there are four births / of sentient beings, namely egg-born and the rest.
Humans and animals possess all four; / hell-beings and the various gods,
as well as intermediate beings, are solely apparitional;
ghosts include both womb-born and apparitional."
