9.19

二三兼住出者，二兼住者，二入胎位也。謂知住胎，亦知入胎。三兼出者，三入胎位也。謂知出胎兼知住、入，兼言為顯後帶前故。

"The second and third also [conscious of] staying and leaving": "the second also of staying" is the second state of womb entry; that is, one is conscious of staying in the womb and also conscious of entering the womb. "The third also of leaving" is the third state of womb entry; that is, one is conscious of leaving the womb as well as conscious of staying and entering. The word "also" is used to show that the latter includes what came before.
