"The floods and yokes are also like this" means that the substances of the floods and yokes are the same as those of the effluents, which is why it is said they are "also like this." That is, when the various views are separated out from the aforementioned effluent of desire, it is called the flood of desire and the yoke of desire. Likewise, when the various views are separated out from the effluent of existence, it is called the flood of existence and the yoke of existence. When the various views are separated out, they are called the flood of views and the yoke of views. In this way, twenty-nine entities have already been shown as being named the flood of desire: greed, hostility, and pride each have five kinds (amounting to fifteen), doubt has four (doubt under the four truths, which added to the previous makes nineteen), and there are ten entanglements (which added to the previous makes twenty-nine). Twenty-eight entities are named the flood of existence: greed and pride have ten each (five in each of the upper two realms, totaling twenty), and doubt has eight (four doubts in each of the upper two realms make eight, which added to the previous makes twenty-eight). Thirty-six entities constitute the flood of views: each of the three realms has twelve views (five views under suffering, two views each under origination and cessation making four, which added to the previous makes nine, and three views under the truth of the path, thus making twelve). Fifteen entities constitute the flood of ignorance: ignorance in the three realms has five each. One should know that the four yokes are explained in the same way as the floods.
