28.73

As for 'by the sharp-facultied aśaikṣas of the three continents,' this clarifies the places and persons. Cultivating the skipping samāpatti occurs only in the places of the three continents of humans. Among the three continents, it can only be cultivated by persons who are arhats of sharp faculties liberated at any time (akālavimukta). Because sharp-facultied aśaikṣas have mastery over absorption and are free from afflictions, they can cultivate skipping.
