云何五識身下，第二隨別解釋。文相有四：初、約自性等五義，分別五識；二、約根境作意分別；三、約率爾等心分別；四、就喻相，重辨初門所依緣等。

From "What is the stage associated with the five groups of consciousness?" downward is the second part, explaining individually. The textual aspect has four parts: first, distinguishing the five consciousnesses in terms of five meanings such as intrinsic nature; second, distinguishing them in terms of faculty, object, and attention; third, distinguishing them in terms of the initial perceptual mind and so forth; fourth, in terms of similes and marks, explaining again the bases and conditions of the first gate.
