解云：小乘宗說：形顯性別一處同聚，故說俱色。大乘義中，顯色是實。如此顯色積集之時，假說形色，說彼形顯假實色時，色義周盡。

The explanation says: The Hīnayāna schools state that shape-color and manifest-color have different natures but congregate together in a single locus; hence they speak of 'both-colors.' According to the Mahāyāna doctrine, manifest-color is real. When such manifest-colors amass, shape-color is conventionally designated. When these conventional and real colors of shape and manifestation are explained, the meaning of color is fully exhausted.
