等無間依，彼有三說，第三正義，八識各以自類為開導依。然於此處不言俱有依者，以意識無不共俱有依故略也。基公牒論文中加俱有字，未知何正？

Regarding the immediately preceding equal support (samanantara-āśraya), that text has three accounts; the third is the correct doctrine: the eight consciousnesses each take their own category as the opening-and-guiding support. However, simultaneous support is not mentioned here, because mental consciousness has no unshared simultaneous support, so it is omitted. When Master Ji cited the treatise text, he added the words 'simultaneous'; which is correct is not known.
