初發論端六門分別：一、敘所為，二、彰所因，三、明宗要，四、顯藏攝，五、解題目，六、釋本文。

At the outset of opening the śāstra, it is distinguished into six gates: first, narrating its purpose; second, clarifying its provenance; third, explaining its doctrinal essence; fourth, showing the basket to which it belongs; fifth, interpreting the title; sixth, explaining the basic text.
