極微微、金、水，兔、羊、牛、隙塵，蟣、虱、麥、指節，後後增七倍，二十四指肘，四肘為弓量。五百俱盧舍，此八踰繕那，計十六里也。言六千五百者，此則據周圍也。

"Paramāṇus, aṇus, iron-, water-,
Rabbit-, sheep-, ox-, and window-dust particles,
Nit, louse, barley grain, finger-joint,
Each succeeding one increases sevenfold;
Twenty-four finger-widths make a cubit (hasta),
Four cubits make the measure of a bow (dhanu);
Five hundred [bows] make a krośa,
And eight of these make a yojana,"
which amounts to sixteen li. The mention of "six thousand five hundred" is based on the circumference.
