龍宮者，大海之下，有娑伽羅龍王宮殿，縱廣正等八萬由旬。又須彌山、持雙山中間海內，復有難陀、憂波難陀二龍王宮殿，縱廣六千由旬等，神住中別標四神各住一級，四大王天在持雙山。俱舍頌曰：
As for the "dragon palaces": beneath the great ocean there is the palace of the Dragon King Sāgara, eighty thousand yojanas in length and breadth. Furthermore, in the sea between Mount Sumeru and Mount Yugandhara, there are also the palaces of the two dragon kings Nanda and Upananda, six thousand yojanas in length and breadth, and so forth. Regarding the spirits dwelling therein, four spirits are separately designated, each dwelling on one tier; the Four Heavenly Kings reside on Mount Yugandhara. A verse in the Abhidharmakośa says:
