初、中、後、句者，說三羯磨，族姓想者，受戒人是婆羅門等族姓，或說隨相持者，為釋族姓，犯者非釋等。

"Initial, middle, and final phrases": reciting the three karmavācanās. "Conception of family clan": the precept candidate belongs to the brahmin or other family clan; or it is said that upholding according to the marks means belonging to the Śākyan clan, whereas violators are not of the Śākyan clan, and so forth.
