同處不相離者，於無根處諸無根色隨有根處諸有根色，自類大造皆同一處相涉入義，非是極微各別住義。和雜不相離者，謂自類大種與餘類大造更相涉入俱一處義。故論下云：前是共大種後是不共大種聚。

Regarding non-separation of identical location: in a location without faculties, forms without faculties, and according to locations with faculties, forms with faculties—their own kind of great elements and derived forms all share the same location and mutually interpenetrate, which does not mean that the subtle atoms dwell separately. Regarding non-separation of commingling: this means that the great elements of their own kind and the great elements and derived forms of other kinds mutually interpenetrate and share a single location. Therefore, the treatise states below: the former is an aggregation of shared great elements, and the latter is an aggregation of unshared great elements.
