第七云諸有情所無損害心、無瞋恚心。菩薩於彼由懷上品法大悲故者，舊論云：心不恚恨起法心悲心，遠法師云：法心者是慧，以慧如彼是法數故，無人可瞋，悲心者救彼，恐當受苦，今又解云：法大悲者，由懷上品法可起大悲意救眾生不論法也。
The seventh says: 'Towards all sentient beings, having no mind of harm and no mind of resentment. Because the bodhisattva conceives superior-grade Dharma great compassion toward them'—the old treatise says: 'The mind is free from resentment, giving rise to the mind of Dharma and the mind of compassion.' Master Yuan says: 'The mind of Dharma is wisdom; because through wisdom, like that, it is a Dharma factor, there is no person toward whom to be resentful; the mind of compassion rescues them, fearing they will undergo suffering.' Now another explanation says: 'Dharma great compassion' means that because one conceives the superior Dharma, one can give rise to great compassion intending to rescue sentient beings, not discoursing on Dharma.
