言如前所說五支不放逸者，指前戒品初持，謂三際俱行及先時，所作俱明，隨行不放逸行，後攝事分亦明之。

The words 'the five factors of heedfulness as explained above' point to the initial maintenance in the preceding Chapter on Morality, meaning operating continuously across the three times and regarding prior actions, both clarifying operating in accord with the practice of heedfulness, which is also explained later in the Vastusaṃgrahaṇī.
