10.416

泰云：壞法壞等者，於可壞法壞時生苦，於可盡法盡時生苦，乃至可死法死時生苦，如是八法一時遇緣名若總，別緣一一而會名若別也。

Tai says: Regarding 'the destruction of destructible phenomena, etc.': suffering arises when destructible phenomena are destroyed, suffering arises when exhaustible phenomena are exhausted, down to suffering arising when mortal phenomena die. Meeting the conditions of these eight phenomena at one time is called 'general'; encountering conditions individually and separately is called 'particular'.
