答中因明論詮義雖無量宗明因果，因明宗說比量，故顯摧他自立道理，聲聞明，一者顯示安立界相者顯示字體，能成立相者此明字緣，二者顯示語工勝利相者辨聲聞用，所謂男女上下等聲名語工勝利，後二明相可知。

In the answer: although the meanings expressed by the treatises on reasoning science are immeasurable, their core explains cause and effect; reasoning science primarily states inference (anumāna), thus revealing the principle of refuting others and establishing one's own [thesis]. In grammatical science: first, revealing the characteristics of establishing roots reveals the essence of words, while the characteristics of capable establishment explains the conditions of words; second, revealing the characteristics of skill in speech and its advantages discriminates the function of grammatical science—what are called male, female, higher, lower, and other vocal sounds are named skill in speech and its advantages. The characteristics of the latter two sciences can be understood.
