又因位約諦故唯四四行智，果位通論故據二智攝說智盡之建七種智前不明取之，相智即盡智，十力前行智即無生智，若爾，何故前四諦智此不取？

Furthermore, the causal position is formulated according to the truths, hence there are only the four knowledges of the four aspects; the fruitional position is discussed comprehensively, hence it is based on two knowledges to subsume and exhaust all stated knowledges. In establishing the seven kinds of knowledge, the previous [knowledges] were not explicitly taken: characteristic knowledge is the knowledge of destruction, and the knowledge preceding the ten powers is the knowledge of non-arising. If so, why were the previous knowledges of the four noble truths not taken here?
