10.57

次將四緣共二因相攝，此說因緣能生因攝，增上緣性即方便因中間二緣攝受因攝，唯識論釋，雖方便因具後三緣，而增上緣多故此偏說，餘因亦有中間二緣，然攝受中顯故偏說，上來總是解初舉數有十種因竟。

Next, the four conditions are correlated with the two causes: here it says that the cause-condition is subsumed under the productive cause; the nature of the predominant condition is the expediting cause; the middle two conditions are subsumed under the receiving cause. The Vijñaptimātrasiddhi explains: although the expediting cause possesses the latter three conditions, because predominant conditions are numerous, this is predominantly stated; the other causes also possess the middle two conditions, but because they are prominent in the receiving [cause], it is predominantly stated. The above fully concludes the explanation of the initial listing of the ten causes.
