言一、勝義世俗智前行者，景云：先起於定依定修智名智前行，亦可先起於智依智修定，故名智前行也。基云：則無分別智後得智之前方便定，則與加行智同時定。

Regarding 'first, the precursor of ultimate and conventional wisdom': Jing says: 'First one arouses concentration, and relying on concentration one cultivates wisdom, which is called the precursor of wisdom. It may also mean that first one arouses wisdom, and relying on wisdom one cultivates concentration, hence called the precursor of wisdom.' Ji says: 'It refers to the preliminary concentration prior to non-conceptual wisdom and subsequent attainment wisdom, which is concurrent with the preparatory wisdom.'
