11.295

初明加行，一、隨護加行念慧為性；二、無罪加行智慧精進為性，此二總出加行之體，後三約位；三、思擇力加行位在地前；四、清淨增上意樂加行謂入初地乃至七地；五、墮決定加行謂八九十地，無倒熾燃即是精進也。

First, it explains practice: 1. the practice of vigilant protection, which has mindfulness and discernment as its nature; 2. the faultless practice, which has wisdom and vigor as its nature—these two generally bring out the essence of practice, whereas the latter three are categorized by stage; 3. the practice of the power of reflective consideration, whose stage is prior to the grounds; 4. the practice of pure elevated resolve, which refers to entering the first ground up to the seventh ground; 5. the practice of falling into determination, which refers to the eighth, ninth, and tenth grounds; unerring ardour is precisely vigor.
