11.335

後之五法為第三瑜伽，則為五品。諸品相生前後次第為第四瑜伽。相謂成就此法入菩薩之相故名相也。此品在第二處先，故言相品第一。

The subsequent five dharmas constitute the third yoga, which forms five chapters. The sequential arising of the various chapters from beginning to end constitutes the fourth yoga. "Characteristics" refers to accomplishing this dharma and entering into the marks of a bodhisattva; hence it is called "characteristics." This chapter precedes the others in the second stage; hence it is called "Characteristics, Chapter One."
