於一切所知等照義故者，教所生慧等照名明，因受果名說教為明。

Regarding 'because it equally illuminates all knowables,' the wisdom produced by the teaching equally illuminates, which is called 'light'; the cause receives the name of the effect, so the teaching is called 'light.'
