The answer is: having attained this dharma, expounding it for sentient beings is true loving-kindness. The four unconditioned immeasurables are the non-conceptual wisdom that is far removed from all conceptual proliferation. Due to attaining this wisdom, one sees the principle of equality and the benefit of others is accomplished; therefore, this stage is called realizing the stage of loving all beings as an only child. Thus, non-conceptual wisdom is the essential nature of unconditioned loving-kindness. The Nirvāṇa [Sūtra] also says: 'Unconditioned' means taking the unconditioned dharmakāya of the Tathāgata as an object; because the Tathāgata is free from conceptual thought, it is called unconditioned.
